Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a fluorine-containing ether composition capable of producing a fluorine-containing ether compound that is useful as a fluorine-containing ether compound that is suitably used in a surface treatment agent or an intermediate body of the fluorine-containing ether compound, at low cost.SOLUTION: A method for producing a fluorine-containing ether compound includes: reacting acid halide with A-O-Q-(RO)-R-R-OH to obtain A-O-Q-(RO)-R-R-OZ; reacting the A-O-Q-(RO)-R-R-OZ with HNRRto obtain A-O-Q-(RO)-R-R-NRRand an acid derived from the acid halide or its salt to reproduce acid halide from the acid or its salt; and recycling the acid halide. In A-O-Q-(RO)-R-R-OH, A is a perfluoroalkylene group; Q is a single bond, a fluoroalkylene group or the like; Rand Rare a perfluoroalkylene group; m is an integer of 2 to 200; Ris an alkylene group or the like; Z is a group in which a halogen atom is removed from the acid halide; and Rand Rare a monovalent organic group having a vinyl group in its terminal group, or the like.SELECTED DRAWING: None
