Abstract:
To provide a method for industrially and advantageously producing different two kinds of high-purity hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) usable as a refrigerant.
The method for producing the HFCs comprises the following steps. A step (A) of reacting a halogenated alkene and/or a halogenated alkane with hydrogen fluoride in the presence of a fluorination catalyst and producing the first HFC, a step (B) of reacting a halogenated alkene and/or a halogenated alkane with the hydrogen fluoride in the presence of the fluorination catalyst and producing the second HFC and a step (C) of joining the products obtained in the steps (A) and (B), then distilling the joined products and affording the first and second HFCs by the distillation.
