Abstract:
To provide a new method for advantageously producing an isocyanate compound having an optical activity, and also to provide a new method for advantageously producing a polyurethane having an optical activity.
The method for producing the isocyanate compound having the optical activity comprises reacting an amino acid alkyl ester having an optical activity, which is obtained by the alkylation and esterification of an amino acid having an optical activity, with a carbonate compound. The method for producing the polyurethane having the optical activity comprises the self- polyaddition of the isocyanate compound having the optical activity.
