Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a porous polytetrafluoroethylene tube capable of easily and efficiently producing a tube made of PTFE in which the density of holes on the outer surface and inner surface is made different from each other.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing a porous polytetrafluoroethylene tube which comprises: a preliminary forming step of forming a paste-like composition containing polytetrafluoroethylene and a liquid lubricant into a tubular preliminary molded body P; and a heating step of removing the liquid lubricant from the preliminary molded body P while burning the preliminary molded body P at a temperature of a liquid R1 for a first heating by bringing the liquid R1 for the first heating into contact with an outer surface M1 of the preliminary molded body P.
