Abstract:

To easily attain version management by integrating and supplying software and hardware.

A cartridge 10A is provided of software constituted of an application 11A, middleware 12A, and operating system 13A, and hardware constituted of a CPU 14A, programmable instruction part 15A, non-volatile memory 16A, I/O 17A, and programmable I/O 18A. The programmable instruction part 15A operates the registration, analysis, and execution of an extending instruction according to the software, and the programmable I/O 18A operates the registration and analysis of the extending function according to the software, and the hardware is customized according to the software. A cartridge 10B is processed in the same way. The cartridges 10A and 10B communicate through a local area network l with each other, and connectability is guaranteed by a distributed object orientation technique.
