Abstract:
To provide a curve shaping method and device of web or sheet material, eliminating the need of depth adjusting work, and preventing the premature deterioration of a shaping tool by making necessary force applied on the shaping tool constant.
The method curvilinearly shapes web or sheet 2 material by compressing it between an upper table 10 and a lower table 20. The tables are respectively connected to supporting structures 11, 21, and cooperated on each side of the plane of travel of the material along a longitudinal axis X. The method includes a step intentionally and elastically deforming either one structure 12, 22 of the tables 10, 20 substantially in one direction.
