Abstract:

To provide demineralized water which is manufactured by using seawater or deep-sea water as a raw material and concentrating and demineralizing the seawater or deep-sea water and has the ion balance suitable for a use and to provide a method for manufacturing the demineralized water easily.

A method for treating seawater comprises the steps of: using a dialyzer in which a mosaic charged membrane is loaded; demineralizing seawater being raw water so that the sodium ion concentration and the chlorine ion concentration of demineralized water are made lower than those of the raw water; and adjusting the concentrations of the ions, which are contained in the raw water except sodium chloride, to those different from those of the ions in the raw water.
