Abstract:
To provide a cover of a molten metal container capable of being subjected to an inversion operation with a small number of people without touching the cover, not receiving an influence on the shape of the cover upon the inversion operation, and not requiring large scale capital investment.SOLUTION: A cover 1 of a molten metal container comprises a first hanging ring 2 and a second hanging ring 4. The first hanging ring 2 is provided in such a manner that the center of a hanging hole 21 thereof is located on the side of an upper face 13 than a face 6 passing through a centroid 5 of the cover and also parallel to a bottom face 14 of the cover and is eccentric from the centroid 5 of the cover. The second hanging ring 4 is provided in such a manner that the center of a hanging hole 41 thereof is located on the side of the bottom face 14 than the face 6 passing through the centroid 5 of the cover and also parallel to the bottom face 14 of the cover and is eccentric from the centroid 5 of the cover.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
