Title:
MONITORING SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005039327
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a monitoring system for eliminating the need for a new wiring work with respect to monitoring of fire breakout and contamination of interior air and capable of specifying a terminal causing an unsteady state and its contents.

The monitoring system includes: a plurality of terminals each having a gas leakage detection means 9, a fire detection means 11, and an incomplete combustion detection means 13; and one central processing unit 1. Each of the terminals and the central processing unit 1 is provided with an echonet wireless communication means adopting an echonet protocol. The central processing unit 1 is provided with a public line connection means 6 that is connected to a telephone set registered in advance through an external line and transmits a prescribed message corresponding to the unstable state when the central processing unit 1 receives a signal denoting the unsteady state from any terminal. Thus, the monitoring system can be built up which requires no new wiring and has high extensibility and reliability for specifying the terminals or the like on the basis of the echonet protocol.
