Abstract:

To provide a motor control apparatus and a method of correcting torque ripple for correcting a harmonic torque ripple including a plurality of frequency components, and accurately determining the torque ripple of cogging and the like from a torque command.

The motor control apparatus includes: a sampling determinator 9 for outputting a sampling execution command to a sampling unit 10 in accordance with an established sampling condition; and an averaging processor 13 for calculating an average Fourier coefficient an*, bn*, from a plurality of Fourier coefficients an, bn determined by using the corrected torque command Tr* sampled at a plurality of motor positions Pm. A correction-value calculator 12 calculates a torque-ripple correction value Th, using the Fourier coefficient an, bn or the average Fourier coefficient an*, bn* to be updated by a set repeat count K.
