Abstract:
To provide mushroom bed cultivation methods intended for the efficient production of specific bioactive components of Hericium erinaceus, especially hericenones that are NGF synthesis promoting substances, and to provide methods for selectively obtaining a desired functional ingredient species from fruiting bodies obtained by the cultivation methods, and the like.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, in a mushroom bed cultivation of Hericium erinaceus, a fruiting body growth stage is divided into six stages, a mature fruiting body is harvested at the stage 6 of the fruiting body growth stage, and by a method of extracting the fruiting body with n-hexane under specific conditions, an extract containing a desired nerve growth factor (NGF) synthesis-promoting agent can be obtained in high concentrations.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
