Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a powder blasting method and device which has low cost, high efficiency and still high precision effect on a workpiece of low charged withstand voltage such as a thin film magnetic head with a MR element and prevents a charge phenomenon.

CONSTITUTION: Contact parts between a powder supply device 1 and powder 3 in a powder transport pipe 5 and a blasting device 6 are made of the same material as that of the powder 3 or coated with the same material so that the powder 3 can be jetted from a powder nozzle 7 to a workpiece after the potential of the powder 3 is electrically neutralized.
