CONSTITUTION: The whole colors of a first layer of color NO. 1-20 are displayed on a display part 14. Then, when an OK-key 4 is operated when a cursol arrives at a required No., the selected color NO. and the name of the color of the first layer are read out from a ROM 7, and are stored in a prescribed area of a RAM 8. Continuously, the color NO., etc., of the whole colors of a second layer linking with the stored first layer hues are displayed. For instance, when the red with the color NO. 01 is selected as the color of the first layer, the corresponding colors of second layer are garnet of the color NO. 01-1 and scarlet of the color NO. 01-2 belonging to the same hue, and the colors and the names are displayed on the display part 14.
