Abstract:

To provide a method capable of designating network address setting to a control apparatus by a simple operation.

Any of control units 11, 12, 13, 14 transmits network address request data according to the sequence of power application to the control units 11, 12, 13, 14 or to which a unit ID is attached, the unit ID being set by a simple entry means (113). An information processing apparatus 2 has a cross-reference list between the sequence of power application to the control units 11, 12, 13, 14 or the unit ID and a network address corresponding thereto, and informs the control units 11, 12, 13, 14 or the like about the network address decided for the control units 11, 12, 13, 14 or the like.
