Abstract:
To provide a non-aqueous liquid composition useful for depot preparation that sustainably releases a drug.
A drug-dissolved non-aqueous liquid composition is provided, comprising a drug, dioleylphosphatidylcholine, tocopherol and an organic solvent. In the composition, a blend concentration ratio of dioleylphosphatidylcholine to tocopherol ranges from 75/25 to 25/75; a blend concentration of dioleylphosphatidylcholine ranges from 15 to 85% (w/w); and a blend concentration of tocopherol ranges from 15 to 85% (w/w). The non-aqueous liquid composition exhibits a phase change into a non-lamellar liquid crystal when the composition is brought into contact with water, a phosphate buffer, a body fluid, a tear fluid or a vitreous fluid.
