To provide a polypropylene-based nonwoven fabric obtained by using a fiber of a propylene-α-olefin random copolymer having excellent binding properties with a natural fiber; and to provide a molded product of the nonwoven fabric.
The polypropylene-based nonwoven fabric is obtained by mixing 15-85 wt.% first fiber comprising the natural fiber, with 85-15 wt.% second fiber composed of the propylene-α-olefin random copolymer. The copolymer is polymerized by using a metallocene catalyst, and has 5-100 g/10 min MFR, 2.0-4.0 Q-value, 110-135°C Tm, 1-18 mol% α-olefin content, and ≤3 wt.% content of soluble components at 0°C measured by carrying out TREF (temperature rising elution fractionation). The molded product thereof uses the second fiber as a binder of the first fiber.
