Title:
NUCLEIC ACID SEQUENCE DERIVED FROM SALMONELLA TYPHI GENOME AND USE THEREOF PARTICULARLY FOR IN VITRO DIAGNOSIS OF EXISTENCE OF GENUS SALMONELLA BACTERIA IN FOODSTUFF
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2008220376
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide nucleic sequences derived from the genome of Salmonella Typhi, and to provide use of the nucleic sequences.

The specific sequences are characterized by including all or part of the genetic information required for the in vitro infection activity of cultured HeLa cells by genus Salmonella bacteria. The gene sequence is useful as a probe and a primer for in vitro diagnosis of genus Salmonella bacteria existence in samples and food stuffs, suspectable of genus Salmonella bacteria existence, and a detecting kit including the gene sequence is also provided.
