Title:
OCULAR REFRACTION MEASURING APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3476219
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable the longitudinal ocular refraction of the eye to be examined accurately to be measured by projecting an indicator to measure the ocular refraction to the funds oculi of the subject eye, calculating the ocular refraction by detecting the image of the indicator and displaying the obtained refraction distribution.
CONSTITUTION: A light catching device 14 detects the respective images on spot focus position 3 by light sources 1a and 1b and from such detected results, a microcomputer 22 moves the spot focus position 3 and a mobile lens 12 until the spot focus position 3 comes to the conjugate position with a relevant longitudinal fundus oculi of the subject eyes 6. A potentiometer 25 detects such position of the spot diaphragm 3 and inputs it to the microcomputer 22 via an A/D converter 21. Then, the calculation process to convert to the refraction value is operated and the relevant longitudinal refraction value is obtained. Subsequently, a pulse motor 27 rotates the light source for measurement 1b, a mask to remove corneal reflection and a light catching device 14 in the specified steps and the radical refraction is measured. These processes are repeated by turn to obtain and to display the refraction data in the 360° directions.
