To obtain a composition which gives a glossy coating film which is excellent in stain resistance, durability, etc., and is easily removable by compounding a wax emulsion, an oxazoline compound emulsion, a carboxylated resin emulsion, a citric ester or an isobutyric monoester, and a flux.
In the process for forming a coating film from this composition, carboxyl groups of the carboxylated resin emulsion react with oxazoline groups of the oxazoline compound emulsion to form crosslinks, thus giving a coating film excellent in abrasion resistance, gloss, etc. The carboxylated resin is preferably a polyurethane resin and/or an acrylic resin. A polyurethane resin having an acid value of 1-40 and a softening point of 110-200°C is preferable. Preferably, the composition further contains an alkali-soluble resin having an acid value of 70-200 and/or at least either an acetylene glycol derivative or 1,4-butanediol.
