An optical measurement apparatus is configured to measure light transmitted from a measurement target disposed in an optical path of light emitted from a light source 10 toward a measuring section 24 which is disposed separately from the light source 10, and comprises a removing section 20 which is provided in the optical path and removes an (s) polarized component from the light, and a polarized component separating section 22 which is provided in the optical path between the removing section 20 and the measuring section 24 and separates a (p) polarized component of light transmitted through the removing section 20 into polarized components which are different by 90° from each other.
