PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pulse train synchronization device capable of stably operating.SOLUTION: An optical pulse train synchronization device for synchronizing a first optical pulse train 21 including an optical pulse generated in a first period with a second optical pulse train 22 including an optical pulse generated in a second period includes photodetectors 5 and 6 which output a first signal corresponding to at least one of the light intensity of the first optical pulse train and the light intensity of the second optical pulse train, a photodetector 10 which outputs a second signal corresponding to a timing difference, and a control circuit 11 which outputs a control signal for adjusting at least one of the first period and the second period, so that the second signal becomes a target value obtained from the first signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
