Title:
ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENT MATERIALS AND DEVICES
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2015221780
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel phosphorescent complex compounds which are useful as organic electroluminescent materials, maintain desirable physical characteristics such as a high photoluminescence quantum yield, and hardly exhibit decomposition of complexes caused by protonation of uncoordinated nitrogen.SOLUTION: Novel phosphorescence complex compounds are represented by, e.g., a compound 7 (formula III in the figure) designed to form static (electrostatic) hydrogen bonding interaction between α-H of an isopropyl group, a cyclohexyl group or the like in the complex and a pair of unpaired electrons of uncoordinated nitrogen in the complex.
