Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the small sized light weight oscillator applicable to a space such as an artificial satellite by providing an oscillation means that generates an RF sine wave with a substantially single frequency, an output conductor for transmission of the sine wave, and a conduction planer resonator that creates an open path with high Q. CONSTITUTION: The oscillator 5 whose oscillated frequency is stabilized by a conduction planer resonator includes a series feedback type oscillation means 12, an output conductor 18 that transmits an RF sine wave with a substantially single frequency, a DC blocking bias capacitor 26 and a conduction planer resonator 10 that has a thin and substantial plane and is coupled magnetically adjacent to the oscillation means 12 therewith. The oscillation means 12 acts like a band elimination filter to reflect backward a power with a resonance frequency of the resonator 10. Thus, an open path with high Q is formed at a point along an input lead wire 16 depending on a desired output frequency of the oscillation means 12. Moreover, the oscillation means 12 acts like a negative impedance device.
