Title:
PACIFIER CLINICAL THERMOMETER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2006258790
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a pacifier clinical thermometer capable of measuring a body temperature while an infant sucks a pacifier.

This pacifier clinical thermometer is constituted by the pacifier and a measurement device, and is provided with a two-piece type detachable structure. The pacifier device includes a built-in temperature sensing device and a connector, and the measurement device includes a display apparatus, a printed board, and a cable element (the printed board is mainly controlled by an integrated circuit). The printed board is provided with an incomplete body temperature measurement circuit which is completed by connecting with a temperature sensing member (such as a temperature sensor). In the temperature sensing member, the body temperature measurement circuit has reference electrical resistance of which electrical resistance difference is within a suitable range (under the normal circumstances). The complete and functional pacifier clinical thermometer is formed when the pacifier device and the measurement device are joined by connecting the connector and the cable. The two-piece structure can be easily replaced, and is convenient for replacement, cleaning and disinfecting of the pacifier (temperature sensing member).
