Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to determine the money type of packed coins in a packed coin tray and the number of packs in an early stage after the packed coin tray is set in a wagon part, by restricting a cost increase.SOLUTION: A packed coin processing unit comprises: a packed coin tray that is able to store a plurality of packed coins of different coin types; a wagon part that accommodates the packed coin tray loaded in a predetermined direction from a loading inlet port of a plurality of steps; a packed coin intake part that takes in the packed coins in the packed coin tray loaded in the wagon part; an image reading element that is arranged in the loading inlet port of the plurality of steps and acquires an image of the packed coins in the packed coin tray being moved after loaded from the loading inlet port; and a processing part that determines the money type of the packed coins in the packed coin tray and the number of packs for each money type, based on the image data of the packed coins acquired by the image reading element.
