Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly and smoothly convey pallets to both sides of pallet lateral feed equipment and to prevent friction wheels clamping a feed plate on the bottom surface of the pallet.
SOLUTION: One set of two friction wheels arranges two sets of friction wheels 58 with a certain distance between them in a lateral feed direction on a moving base 43. A moving device 66 for moving the moving base 43 in the lateral feed direction is provided, the moving base 43 is moved in the lateral feed direction and the feed plate of the pallet is clamped by two friction wheels 58 of each set. Two sets of friction wheel 58 is rotated by synchronization, a single friction wheel drive motor 45 is provided for mutually and reversely rotating the friction wheel 58 at each set and the pallets are advanced in lateral direction by the cooperation of two sets of friction wheel 58.
