Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide such a panel heater as being capable of extending its life by preventing the deterioration of heater wires.
CONSTITUTION: A panel heater is provided with a heat insulating block 2 in which heater wires 1 are arranged on the surface side. A number of gas blow opening holes 5 for every opposite position of the heater wires and gas supply passages 6 through which protective gas G is supplied from the outside after the communication and connection of these gas blow holes 5 therewith are provided in the heat insulating block 2. The heat insulating block 2 is formed with an inside block 3 and an outside block 4 jointed together, a number of gas blow holes 5 being formed in the inside block 3 and the gas supply passages 6 being formed on the joint of the outside block 4 to supply the protective gas G from the outside after the communication and connection of the gas blow holes 5 therewith.
