Abstract:

PURPOSE:To constitute a ship capable of properly coping with natural requirements by disposing a bumper for damping the shocking acceleration action of a hull and wave surfaces and a buffer for absorbing rolling and pitching actions between the hull and compartment. CONSTITUTION:A compartment 2 disposed on a hull 1 separately independently therefrom is supported on the hull by a bumper 3 and a support 4. The bumper 3 consists of a support cylinder and an accumulator to support the compartment with gas pressure of N2 gas in the accumulator. Also, the support 4 is connected to the compartment through an end of piston rod hydraulically vertically moved. Impacts of surface waves of the sea and the bottom of ship are absorbed by the accumulator, and pitching and rolling are reduced by the support 4.
