Abstract:

To provide a compact PET bottle treatment apparatus which realizes both of the PET bottle washing treatment and the compression/volume reduction treatment to improve a PET bottle collection efficiency.

The PET bottle treatment apparatus has a washing mechanism for washing by discharging a washing fluid into the inside P2 of a PET bottle P and a volume reduction mechanism for compressing/volume reducing the PET bottle P. The washing mechanism has a tank 12 and a pump 14 to be housed in a trestle 10, and a nozzle 11 which protrudes from the trestle 10 to be inserted into the inside P2 of the PET bottle P. The volume reduction mechanism has a support 20 on the trestle 10 and a press section 21 supported by the support 20 to compress the PET bottle P in the lengthwise direction.
