Abstract:
PURPOSE: To be able to assemble or remove a phase regulator by a simple operation by unitizing the regulator for regulating the phase between rolls of a multi-color printer.
CONSTITUTION: A gear unit 10 for regulating a phase includes a hollow input shaft 12 at the inside of a hollow casing 11, and an output shaft 14 at the inside of the shaft 12. Mounting spline shafts 121, 141 are formed at the ends of the shafts 14 and 12. Cup-shaped first and second wave motion gear units 16 and 25 are coaxially disposed at the rear end sides of these shafts, and the input rotation is returned from the internal gear 161 of the first gear unit 16 to the gear unit 16 via a gear train 30 and the second gear unit 25, and transmitted to the shaft 14 via the gear unit 16. The components of the first gear unit are integrally rotated in the state that a phase regulating motor 6 is locked, and the input and output shafts are rotated simultaneously. In the case of regulating the phase, the rotation of the motor 6 is largely decelerated via the units 25 and 16 and output.
