Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a photographic element forming a Magenta photographic pigment image excellent in light stability and a forming method thereof.
CONSTITUTION: The photographic element contains a supporting body carrying at least one photographic silver halide emulsion layer and a dyestuff forming 1H-pyrazolo(1,5-b)1,2,4-triazol coupler containing an unsubstituted or substituted polycyclic hydrocarbon group at 6-position, and the forming method of the pigment image by processing the photographic element and the 1H-pyrazolo(1,5-b)1,2,4-triazol capable of being used for the element and the method are provided.
