To provide a photographic processing apparatus in which an appropriate and minimum necessary amount of a processing liquid can be replenished to a plurality of processing tanks containing processing liquids so as to always stably perform development, regardless of the processing amount of a photographic photosensitive material.
A print station 3 is equipped with a processing liquid replenishing mechanism 20 for replenishing appropriate necessary amount of the processing liquid to each processing tank 15a to 15c, containing various kinds of processing liquids, such as a color developing solution. The replenishing amount of the processing liquid by the processing liquid replenishing mechanism 20 is calculated by a control unit 30 connected to a replenishing pump 27. The control unit 30 calculates an additional replenishing amount Radd, which increases with decrease in the processing rate at the time of previous starting from a graph determined by a preset minimum processing rate Pmin, a required processing rate Pnes, a maximum replenishing amount Rmax, and a basic replenishing amount Rbase, and adds the obtained amount Radd to the basic replenishing amount Rbase to replenish.
