Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS62209440
Kind Code:
A

PURPOSE: To obtain the titled microcapsule and photosensitive material capable of forming easily, and having a good shelf life and extremely high sensitivity by forming an outer shell composed of a gelatin at surroundings of a core substance contg. silver halide and a polymerizable compd.

CONSTITUTION: In the titled material, the outer shell composed of the gelatin is formed at surroundings of the core substance contg. silver halide and the polymerizable compd. The silver halide may present either in an inside of the core substance or in a state of partially being burried in the outer shell at surroundings of an interface between the core substance and the outer shell. A well known silver halide in a photography may be used as the silver halide of the titled material. The photosensitive microcapsule may use either silver chloride, silver bromide and silver iodide or silver chlorobromide, silver chloroiodide, silver iodobromide and silver chlorobromide. The halogen composition of the silver halide particle may be uniform or un-uniform in the surface and inside of the particle.
