Title:
PIEZOELECTRIC VIBRATION CHIP
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2011160094
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To prevent electrode disconnection, and to suppress spurious vibrations.

On a substrate 21 of a crystal vibration chip 2, excitation electrodes 81 and 82 for performing excitation, holding electrodes 83 and 84 electrically connected to an external electrode, and sleeve electrodes 85 and 86 for drawing the excitation electrodes 81 and 82 to the holding electrodes 83 and 84 are formed. The excitation electrodes 81 and 82 are formed on both the principal planes 32 and 33 of the substrate 21, and an electrode area is formed by the excitation electrodes 81 and 82 formed on both the principal planes 22 and 23 of the substrate 21. The electrode area comprises a counter electrode part 87 in which the excitation electrodes 81 and 82 face each other, and a non-counter electrode part 88 in which the excitation electrodes 81 and 82 do not face each other. The non-counter electrode part 88 is arranged around the counter electrode part 87 in connection with the counter electrode part 87.
