Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the necessity of change of preparatory arrangement even when the diameter of a pipe to be machined is changed and to surely handle a cut product.
SOLUTION: This pipe cutting machine is constructed in such a manner that a clamping device 13 for performing cutting work for a pipe WP by a rotary cutter while the pipe WP is clamped by the clamping device 13 includes clamp main bodies 33L and 33R brought close to and separated from each other freely by an actuator around the pipe WP oppositely to the pipe. Vices 55L and 55R for clamping and unclamping the pipe WP are provided in the tips of the clamp main bodies 33L and 33R, the tip parts of these vices 55L and 55R for clamping the pipe WP are formed in V shapes and grooves for passing handling clamps 59L and 59R are formed.
