PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate discharge device of a screen printing machine capable of preventing a plate discharge jam.SOLUTION: When compressing used stencil paper G toward the compression direction being the same direction as the plate discharge carrying direction of this stencil paper G by a plurality of compression claws 44 rotatable in a plate discharge box 11, the compression claws 44 are particularly provided with a projection part (44c1) projected toward the compression direction in the vicinity of left-right end parts Gic and Gid in the width direction of an ink surface Gi of the used stencil paper G, so that the left-right end part Gc, Gd sides in the width direction of the used stencil paper G can be excessively compressed toward the compression direction by this projection part (44c1).
