Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable cutter which enables easy attachment/detachment of a dust box and makes chips less likely to leak from a border between an exhaust port of the dust box and an opening of a housing.SOLUTION: A portable cutter includes: a motor; a saw blade 12 which rotates by the motor and cuts a cut material; a housing 15 which covers the saw blade 12 and the motor; and a dust box 30 which may be detachably attached to the housing 15. The dust box 30 includes an exhaust port 36 for releasing air to the outside. The housing 15 includes a discharge port 25 which engages with the exhaust port 36 and communicates therewith when the dust box 30 is attached to the housing 15. A protrusion 36c which engages with the other inner periphery is provided in at least one of the exhaust port 36 and the discharge port 25.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
