PURPOSE: To increase the mixing capacity of the powder received in a pot mill by forming the pot mill wherein the inner diameter of the inner wall thereof is gradually reduced toward both ends thereof in the rotary axis direction.
CONSTITUTION: In a pot mill having an internal space, the inner wall of the pot mill main body 1 is formed into such a shape that the inner diameter of the pot mill main body 1 in the direction vertical to the rotary shaft of the pot mill is gradually reduced toward both ends of the pot mill. The cross-sectional shape of the pot mill in the direction vertical to the rotary axis direction thereof may be circular, oval or polygonal. A powder is ground and mixed by this inventive pot mill but the pot mill is used by arranging the pot mill on a drive stand to rotate the same or by integrally arranging and mounting the pot mill to a stand so as to be capable of rotating the same by a motor.
