PURPOSE: To reduce slag generation and oxidation in pouring and to precisely control a pouring quantity to a mold by controlling a quantity of molten metal as a sealing body is closely adhered or floated on molten metal with varying pressure in the pressure chamber.
CONSTITUTION: When a molten metal 5 is poured in a ladle 1 and an inert gas is blown in a pressure chamber 2 so as to turn to a pressure Pa in the pressure chamber 2, a head of a molten metal 5 entering in the pressure chamber 2 turns to Ha, a sealing body 4 is closely adhered on the upper end 3a of a pouring nozzle 3, the molten metal does not flow out from the pouring nozzle 3. Successively, a pressure in the pressure chamber 6 is reduced to Pb by a pressure controlling device 6, a head of the molten metal is raised to Hb, a sealing body 4 having a specific weight lower than that of the molten metal 5 is floated by the molten metal 5, detaching from the upper end of the pouring nozzle 3, the molten metal flows out with opening the pouring nozzle 3, pouring to a sprue of mold. Subsequently, when pressurized to Pc, the sealing body 4 is adhered on the upper end of the pouring nozzle, further, at continuing pressurization, a head of the molten metal 5 turns to Hc, stopping the molten metal 5 to flow out.
