This power source device for a vehicle is mounted on the floor 30 of a vehicle in the state that the upper surface of a case 1 is the load resisting floor. The case 1 is provided with a base plate 2, a plastic case 3 opened upward and fixed on the base plate 2, and a cover plate 4 fixing an upper aperture of the plastic case 3 so as to be closed. A battery housing part 6 for housing a holder case 5 housing a battery module 21, and a blower housing part 7 for housing a blower mechanism 8 cooling the battery module 21 are provided in the inside of the case 1. Further, in the blower housing part 7, a support boss 10 for supporting a lower surface of the cover plate 4 is arranged between the plastic case 3 and the cover plate 4.
