Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent fire of a vehicle from occurring even if a wire harness is short-circuited, by shutting off a part between a battery and a wire harness when there is a possibility of generation of a trouble on the wire harness.
SOLUTION: When an air bag ignition signal is not fed, a cylinder 19 of a cylinder mechanism 20 is held in the initial position, a plus terminal of a battery and a large capacity fuse are electrically connected by a contact releasing mechanism 21. When an air bag ignition signal is fed in this state, air is injected from a driving force generating mechanism 18 to slide the cylinder 19 of the cylinder mechanism 20, a contact of the contact releasing mechanism 21 is opened, and the plus terminal of the battery and the large capacity fuse is electrically shut off.
