Abstract:
To provide a preceding handrail that facilitates mounting work to a connection receiving part at a high position of a support regardless of the right and left order of a connection member to be mounted.SOLUTION: A preceding handrail 20 has connection receiving parts provided at predetermined intervals along the axial direction, and a horizontal member 21 to be erected in the substantially horizontal direction and a diagonal member 51A to be erected in the oblique direction are connected through a first connection member 30A provided with an insertion part 43 to be inserted into the connection receiving parts from above. A first connecting member 30A is provided with a horizontal member mounting part 34 rotatably mounted in the vicinity of the end part of the horizontal member 21, and a diagonal member mounting part 37 rotatably mounted with the diagonal member 51; the horizontal member mounting part 34 abuts on the horizontal member 21 and is provided with a holding protrusion 34c for holding the insertion member 43 in a substantially right angle direction, and the diagonal member mounting part 37 is provided with a rotation preventing protrusion 37c to abut on the diagonal member 51A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
