Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prepare L-threo-β-hydroxyaspartic acid in high efficiency, by culturing a microbial strain belonging to Dactylosporangium genus.

CONSTITUTION: A microbial strain belonging to Dactylosporangium genus and capable of producing L-threo-β-hydroxyaspartic acid, e.g. Dactylosporangium sp. SF-2253 strain (FERM-P No.6858), is cultured aerobically at 25W40°C for 3W10 days, and the objective L-threo-β-hydroxyaspartic acid is separated from the cultured liquid.
