Title:
PRESSURE SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3410257
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure reliability of wire connection by a method wherein when a connector is inserted into a terminal, a flow of compressed air into a main chamber is prevented by a bank for sectioning the main chamber and a sub chamber to make it flow into the sub chamber, gel is sent therein to make bubbles.
SOLUTION: When a connector is inserted to a connector connection recess 18, air is compressed to an atmospheric pressure or higher by seal rubber. An interface between a resin case 10 and a terminal 16a or the like has low tightness, thereby allowing compressed air to enter. However, the compressed air is prevented by a bank 13a including a pressure sensitive element for sectioning a main chamber R1 and a sub chamber R2 so that the compressed air may not flow into the main chamber R1 but may flow into the sub chamber R2 from a through hole 11a provided on the terminal 16a or the like to be bubbles in silicon gel therein. Thus a wire covered by the silicon gel in the main chamber R1 may not deform clue to the bubbles, thereby improving reliability of wire connection.
