To provide a pressure terminal capable of preventing a molten hotmelt from adhering to a contact mounting part, and that, with its intensity enhanced as it is, and capable of firmly fixing the contact mounting part to an object for electric connection in a completely fastened state at all times.
The pressure terminal 1 bent like a crank shape in side view is provided with a contact mounting part 3, a coupling part 4, and a loading part 5. Crimping parts 9, 10 crimping and fixing wiring materials 2 are formed on the loading part 5, and a first bent part 12 of a concave shape and a second bent part 13 of a convex shape have a protruded part 14 and a dimple 15 formed, respectively. The loading part 5 has formed a core-wire locking part 6 and a flow-out-preventing part 7 of a protruded shape, as well as protruded strips 17a, 17b formed at both side edge parts, respectively, of the contact mounting part 3 and the coupling part 4 pinching the first bent part 12. Even if the hotmelt 22 coated on the inner face of a thermally compressed tube 21 melts down and flows out of the loading part 5, when the thermally compressed tube 21 put on the loading part 5 is superheated and compressed, the flow-out-preventing part 7 can prevent it from flowing out up to the contact mounting part 3.
