Abstract:
PURPOSE: To inexpensively and easily produce an ink jet printhead by a commercial apparatus.
CONSTITUTION: A nozzle plate 44 is bonded and connected to the trace 38 protruding to the aperture 36 of a reel-to-reel TAB tape and, next, a substrate 46 is aligned with the nozzle plate 44 to be connected to a conductor 30 and bonded to the nozzle plate 44 by a thermosetting adhesive. This production method is automated by a commerical apparatus.
