Abstract:

To easily produce a label with a width different from a width of a medium to be printed attached to a printing device, without exchanging the medium to be printed such as a tape.SOLUTION: A printing device comprises a conveying part that conveys a tape 13 and a first cutting part that cuts the tape 13 along a conveying direction. The first cutting part comprises a rotary cutter 902 that is a blade part provided to be movable relatively with respect to a medium to be printed, a coil spring 904 that is an energizing part for energizing the rotary cutter 902, and a guide 911 that is a positioning part which is inserted into a position at which the rotary cutter 902 can move.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
