Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing unit which allows a user to confirm the inside state of the printing unit during operation and an offset printer having the same.SOLUTION: A printing unit 10 comprises: an impression cylinder 1 which guides a printing object W; a blanket cylinder 2 which is in opposite-contact with the impression cylinder 1 and applies ultraviolet curable ink to the printing object W; a plate cylinder 3 which transfers the ultraviolet curable ink to the blanket cylinder 2; a plurality of inking rollers 5 which supply the ultraviolet curable ink to the plate cylinder 3; a housing 8 which stores at least the blanket cylinder 2, the plate cylinder 3, and the inking rollers 5; and window parts 10a1, 10a2, 10b which are provided in a front part 8a and/or a rear part 8b of the housing 8 so as to allow visual recognition of the impression cylinder 1, the blanket cylinder 2, the plate cylinder 3 and the inking rollers 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
