Abstract:
To provide a method for producing high-purity (meth)acrylic acid ester in a high yield by using a readily obtainable catalyst.
An alkyl (meth)acrylate and a 3-24C OH group-containing organic compound containing an alcoholic OH group or a phenolic OH group are used as raw materials and transesterified by using a tetraalkyl titanate containing the same alkyl group as that of a part derived from the alcohol of the raw material alkyl (meth)acrylate as a catalyst under conditions to make ≥90% degree of conversion based on the raw material OH group-containing organic compound.
