Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the permeability of ore layer in a sintering machine and to stably and efficiently produce the good quality sintered block by classifying returned powder into small diameter grain group and large diameter grain group, granulating the small diameter grain group after mixing sulfide concentrate thereinto, mixing the returned powder of the large diameter grain group into the obtained granules, and charging into a Dwight Lloyd sintering machine.
SOLUTION: The returned powder in the grain size distribution mode of 2-4 mm is classified into the small diameter grain group (<2 mm grain size) and the large diameter grain group. The returned powder of the classified small diameter grain group is mixed with the sulfide concentrate of one per few values (about 1/5) to the classified grain group and suitable quantity of moisture and granulated so that the grain size distribution mode is matched with the grain diameter mode of the returned powder in the large diameter grain group. On the other hand, the returned powder in the large diameter grain group is only adjusted to the moisture as it is, and mixed with the granulated returned powder and charged into the sintering machine. Further, the mixture of both is executed such degree as not to change the grain size distribution by shifting the raw material in the granulated material to the returned powder of the large diameter grain group.
